video: It's very individual but after seeing it several times I quite like it - and the ideas are great anyway.

This is one of my most favourite songs, it's unbelievable. I want to scream the lyrics out!

Here is something I found in a comment:

Laika was the first canine cosmonaut. She was sent into space with no hope or means of bringing her back. The song is narrated by the younger siblings of Alexander, who causes fights in the family, until his parents send him away.The kids were told that him leaving was, "for his own good," but it's really for the  convenience of the people around him, the neighbourhood. The kids discover this, and now say if the parents  knew Alex wouldn't return, they should have named him Laika.
