Pleasures

Today, in my German lesson, we had an extract of Bertold Brecht's Pleasures.
Our task has been to continue the extract, to use our "imagaination".
I'm not able to write poems when I have to. I really can't.

My continuation has been, of course, completly wrong. [They're playing This Is The Life by Amy McDonald.]
I think my main focus was wrong. I thought about things I like, pleasures as the title says. Not, wheather Brecht would write this or not, not, wheather this goes with his style.
I think I dealt too much with myself.

Here is Brechts extract and my extract. The complete poem you could find here.
M.B. are the initials of the character I play in our theatre play.
First looking out the window in the morning
The old book that’s been found again
Enthusiastic faces
Snow, the change of the seasons
The newspaper
The old dog
Dialectic
Taking a shower, swimming
Touching old books
Smelling new printed things
Laughing
Talking in front of them
Monday Roses
Tree's swoosh
The gliding of the pencil on the paper
Warm summer rain
M.B.
